LECTURES – TEDxConcordia – "Montreal architect Henry Tsang one of ten speakers"

Announcement:

TEDxConcordia

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At our TEDxConcordia event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Speaker: Henry Tsang Ph.D.
Architect OAQ, MRAIC

Dr. Henry Tsang is an architect and researcher in the field of sustainable architecture technology. As a member of Habitat for Humanity and Emergency Architects of Canada, Henry has worked on post-disaster reconstruction projects around the world. He says that post-disaster reconstruction is not about reconstructing buildings, but rather rebuilding communities, restoring life as it was (hopefully better), and learning from past mistakes.

Conference: TEDxConcordia
Location: Concordia University | 1455 Maisonneuve Blvd W, Montreal, Qc.
Date: May 3, 2014 from 9am
